Let’s chat some super important makeup tips today…
We see other people wearing the products we use, maybe watch a tutorial, and think, WHY can’t my makeup end up looking like that? Can you relate? I know I’ve been there, too!
But don’t fret. Because here’s the thing… It may not be your cosmetic’s fault! There are a few other reasons makeup can go on unevenly.
#1 SKIN CARE!! I say it all the time, skincare is SO important. You cannot ignore your skin and expect flawless results with your makeup. Your skin needs TLC, too. Your skin is constantly exposed to the elements and is the largest organ on your body. You gotta take care of it.
Removing your makeup (every night), cleansing off all the sweat and dirt, then moisturizing is KEY to having a great complexion. Our Seint Skincare line is AMAZING for each and every step.
#2 Dry or dehydrated skin. Aside from moisturizing- it’s important to exfoliate, too! Scrub away dull and dry skin with Seint’s Masque. It works in minutes, leaving your skin baby smooth and the perfect canvas for flawless makeup. Plus, you only need to exfoliate about 2x a week!
#3 Dirty brushes or sponges. Besides the obvious *germ* factor, dirty brushes and sponges do NOT apply makeup evenly. Be sure to clean your tools regularly- your skin will thank you!
#4 Using the wrong highlight. Depending on the season, our coloring, texture, and how dry or oily we are can change. Even if you found the perfect shade previously, it doesn’t mean it will be the right fit all year round.
The solution? Get in touch, and we can re-color match you! I can help you find what works for you at different times of the year! Simply hit reply, and we can get you re-color matched!
Did any of these ring a bell with you?
