Today we’re talking how exactly to get perfect brows. This is something I am asked about a ton!

Want to whip your brows into shape? Let’s talk about how to shape your brows so they have the perfect ratio that will be most flattering for your face shape and bone structure.

Grab a makeup brush or a pencil to map out the shape and I’ll take you through this step by step. Ready for the perfect brows? Let’s go! 

First, step 1: Your brow should begin directly above the middle of your nostrils.

Then, step 2: Your brow ‘tail’ should end where the corner of the nostril connects with the outside corner of an eye.

Lastly, step 3: The highest part of your brow – the arch – should connect from the tip of the nose (in the middle) through the iris and then the brow. This helps determine your ideal brow shape based on your brow structure!

I like to grab my Line Brush and a little bit of my Trust to fill in my brow. I’ll draw a straight line along the bottom of the brow to create the shape matching up all of the lines, and then draw thin, hair like strokes towards the beginning part of the brow. I make sure the arch and tail are the darkest part of the brow (giving it a soft gradient effect).

Grab the Brow Wax to seal it all in! This will set the color and hold the brow hair in place.
