Are you ready for another blog in my home tour series? I can’t wait to take you around today’s space. It’s one of my very favorites! Today we are going to the kitchen.
I love this space! I can make meals and still be close to the rest of the family, thanks to the open concept. The kitchen is the center of our home, and one that most families spend a lot of time in. Therefore, I wanted it to be beautiful and inviting. Come on in!
I am in love with all the touches that really come together to make this space shine! For example, the gorgeous backsplash, the pendant lights, and the leathered countertops. These touches really take it from ‘builder grade’ to a kitchen space that I am proud of.
Here are a few of my very favorite items in this room:
Next, the kitchen island, which is such a gathering place for my family. My boys pull up one of the stools and sit to do homework or eat lunch there. Having the sink and dishwasher in the island has made it so easy to do dishes while still being aware of what is going on around me and being able to be present.
