Welcome back to my home tour blog series! Today, we are stepping into our main bedroom.
When we were planning the design on this house, I knew I wanted my bedroom to be timeless and classic. For example, avoiding crazy trendy designs that I’ll hate in a couple of years! Instead, we wanted something neutral that I can dress up by changing out the decor, and keeping the “bones” of the room intact.
To achieve this, we opted for a shiplap wall as an accent. Are you a big fan of shiplap, too? If you are on the fence about shiplap in your main bedroom, do it! That’s my best advice! It is so easy and instantly adds character to an otherwise boring wall. The great news is that it’s also super simple to switch out if you get tired of it. For example, you can paint over it and match the rest of your wall colors for a quick update, down the line.
Thankfully, I’m able to link a ton of the decor items from our main bedroom for you. I made sure to include some of the staple items in this list, like our bed, lamps, rug, curtain rods and more. I was even able to find our exact ottoman and pillows, too.
