Where are my fellow eyeshadow fans? I truly feel like the right eye makeup really makes a massive difference for the look you’re trying to achieve with your makeup. Do you agree?

I like to think of it this way: an expert eyeshadow look is almost like creating a mini-masterpiece! Using brushes and a makeup palette is an integral part of both. To make your eye color really pop, you can also use classic fine arts techniques!

First, incorporate a little bit of color theory into your eye shadow makeup selections to determine which shadows will enhance your  eyes. Something to keep in mind is when paired together, complementary colors are those that are opposite each other on the color wheel. This ensures they’re the most harmonious colors.

For example, red is green’s complementary color. Therefore, you can be sure any red shadow will make your green eyes pop. Isn’t that cool? Although red tones may feel like a super bold shade for everyday wear, any color of eyeshadow that has undertones of pink, coral or gold, will look great on green eyes too!
