Big Boy Room {Design Inspiration}
Let’s get some Big Boy Room {Design Inspiration}. We are planning on switching Oliver to a “big boy” bed at the end of this month, and I’ve been searching/planning/pinning for months of what I want his “big boy room” to be like.
I love the colors and paint in his room currently, so we aren’t going to be changing that. His room is small, so I have to be careful to not add too many elements, but I want it to be cozy and become a room he is very comfortable being in all the time. We don’t have a playroom (or room for one) and so I’d like to make his room somewhat of a playroom as well (is that bad to do? because that’s my plan). I’m thinking gray with blue (instead of the current turquoise), red, and yellow — basically the primary colors… with some industrial elements. 🙂

I want this sign as big as I can get it in his room. Via |
Can’t find the original source, but the chalkboard and working station is perfect! |
Maybe not chevron… but blue and white striped curtains would be awesome! |
Once again, Pillow Thought! I love the shelves for books and the PLAY scrabble letters (tutorial on her blog!) |
I want a globe or a giant map in his room! We have a “vintage” map I’m debating framing |
