A Little Backstory

The truth is, it took me years to convince Pedro to transfer to BYUI. It was no easy task. I would contact the school, request information on specific programs and present them to Pete.

Once he was on board with the idea we knew our time here would be extremely focused and driven on accomplishing one goal: earning his degree. We left our home, family, & friends and took a leap of faith.

I cried the first few days we arrived, thinking we had made a mistake. We’ve had our highs & lows: laughed together and stressed out together. Our relationship & family have grown (literally). A few bumps along the road didn’t stop us as we accomplished our goals.

Our mission here is done! We are so excited to move on but I know someday we will miss this little corner of Idaho & our simple life here. Rexburg will always have a piece of our hearts – we love the university and this little town, it’s truly something special.
