Steal this viral mom hack: No more wondering what to wear every day!
Save this post for later and share it with your friends. This method has made getting our boys ready for school during the week 10x easier…
Step one:
Get yourself a 6-shelf pants closet organizer from Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. The cloth, canvas type material ones are great. They’re lightweight and super easy to hang up from the bar in your closet. Hang the organizer up inside your kid’s closet.
Step two:
Let your kid pick out an outfit for each day. Once you’ve settled on the outfit, you place each outfit in the individual cubbies of the hanging organizer.
This lets you look ahead at the weather, adjust the outfit accordingly and take one task off of your checklist in the mornings before school!
I remember using a system like this years ago when my kids were younger and I don’t know why we stopped! It has honestly been SO helpful for us this school year! Some mornings half the battle is deciding what to wear. If you can relate, I urge you to try this hack out… No more guessing what to wear every morning. Ripping clothes out of the dresser, going back and forth on options.
It’s a huge timesaver!
When we do our laundry, the boys put their outfits together and put them away in their cubbies, first. If we have a school spirit day or are anticipating a rainy day, we adjust the outfits.
You could add socks to the cubby as well, but we’ve found keeping socks by the door in our mudroom is the best fit for us.
Do you do this? What systems to you use in your home to make things easier?
I would love to hear your own mom hacks!
Psst: Did you know I have an entire Back To School section of my Amazon storefront?
