Often I get asked by Seint Artists and other entrepreneurs how I am able to manage my time working from home. Especially with young children and other responsibilities in my life. Today I’m going to share my secrets with you!
These principles apply no matter what kind of work you do from home. When you manage your time, you really do control your life. The biggest limiting belief that people often say is “I don’t have the time.” We want to shift our thinking about time – rather than saying “I don’t have time” we should probably say, “It’s not a priority.” Ultimately, we all have different priorities and are going to choose to approach our business differently, and that’s okay!
For example, Sally may say “I don’t have time to work” and Sara may say, “It’s a priority for me to work.”
See the difference? 🤔
⏰I personally am a big believer in TIME BLOCKING when it comes to how I manage my time. To achieve what is a priority for me, this is so key. When I set aside time to focus on specific tasks, I tend to get more done. ⏰ I time block everything – including time for self-care! Being intentional with my time has been a game changer for me, my business and my family relationships.

Where do you start with the best way to manage your time and all things time blocking though? First, I recommend looking at your day and asking yourself a few key questions: What are your subset priorities within the umbrella of your larger ones? On the goals you try to reach daily – look at them and see how you can elevate them and make them EVEN more productive!
You want to have bite-sized tasks that you can check off! Checking things off of your list will be the greatest motivator because you will feel like you are moving, shifting and changing. When you accomplish something, make it a big deal!✅✅✅
Here are some awesome apps/tools I love to help assign me in involving myself in high income producing activities, and successfully getting to manage my time: 📱💻📱💻📱
+ Evernote – this app is great because it allows you to organize all of your thoughts, tasks and reminders in one place! I love the convenience of having it in my phone – and it is easy to organize and share!
+ Moment – Moment lets you know where you are spending your time on your phone. You’ll be able to see how much time is actually wasted in places that do not bring you income! I also love the app Rescue Time because it provides you reports for the week!
+ Tip: save third party tools, direct links to YouTube videos, etc into a folder on my phone! I have images organized in folders so if someone needs something quickly, I can usually grab it quickly.
Challenge Time:
This is a two-part challenge.
Step 1: Write out your goals and priorities to accomplish and post them on your fridge! Snap a photo of your goal sheet and post it below!
Step #2: Track your time management and tasks for 5 days straight – let me know what you notice! Where did you find you were wasting time but didn’t know it?
Did you complete the challenge? If so, let me know how you did so I can cheer you on!
