Have you ever been to Nashville?
We are officially back home and into our daily grind but already dreaming of our next trip to Nashville! We had a great time and everything went fairly smoothly (aside from my brother’s truck being broken into 😕).
If you’re planning a trip to Nashville, you can make reservations weeks in advance through OpenTable for restaurants and buy tickets online for events. It seems like there is something to do every day!
Where To Go:
A piece of advice: Be sure to check out each venue’s safety measures and protocols so you are prepared when you go! Some of the places we love are the Listening Room, Top Golf, the Grand Ole Opry, Printer’s Alley, Skulls, the Hermitage, the Parthenon, Music Row, and more.
We also took a scenic drive through the country, which was so beautiful. You don’t want to miss the Broadway area (everyone in the bars look like they’re having a great time!). And I have to mention all of the incredible live music throughout Nashville, too.
The Food Scene:
There is so much yummy food in this city – my siblings and I read reviews and researched places to go ahead of time. We have family & friends that made recommendations and so we planned according to that. Martin’s BBQ is amazing (you can’t make a reservation but the line moves fairly quickly and it’s worth the wait), The Assembly Hall (hello Pharmacy Burger), Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, Maple Street Biscuit, The Hampton Social, Whisk Crepes Cafe and the Peg Leg Porker.
Hope that helps some of you planning a trip to the Music City! There is SO much to do and see – you’ll have so much fun 🎉
