Today I’m chatting about optimism and leadership. I personally find that they go hand in hand. The quote above is one of my favorites quotes on optimism!

Notice that both the pessimist and the optimist were in the observers chair? They’re just ON the boat for the ride, but the leader takes charge as the captain! The leaders are the ones that are “in the arena” if you will, taking ACTION.

When I find myself in situations that are beyond my control, there have been times when I’ve been the pessimist. Can you relate, too? Honestly, optimism isn’t always easy. It’s usually a challenge, just like leadership.

As I’ve gotten older and wiser, I’ve learned there is so much joy in the journey. And when I remind myself of that, I usually try to be an optimist. From this day forward, you’ll always find me adjusting the sails!
